I’m a qualified primary school teacher with over 30 years teaching experience. I have always been interested in finding out why one child learns easily whereas another struggles.
In 2014 I completed a Master in Education degree through Massey University.
After completing this I still had many questions about how to actually help children with learning difficulties.
In 2014 I was introduced to developmental learning through the Extra Lesson training programme. I quickly realised that this programme was another piece in the puzzle to explain why some children struggle.
In 2015 and 2016 I worked in Auckland at the Developmental Learning Centre with a range of amazing children, their families and therapists whilst completing my training Extra Lesson training in Australia.
I began training in the Tomatis® method in 2016 and continue to be amazed at the wide-ranging effects it offers. I am now a Level 4 Tomatis® consultant and have worked with both adults and children.
I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping people of all ages improve their lives.
